Our taxi driver took us to see some local fruit at a specialty garden. Here they grew pomelos, dragon fruit and star fruit. They covered them in plastic and newspaper to keep the moisture with the fruit in this climate.

After the free tour, they tried to get us to buy some fruit. Of course they gave us the tourist rates which were more expensive than what it costs to buy them in Canada! We passed on the purchase and continued on to visit Kek Lok Tong Cave Temple and the Zen Gardens.

The cave temple lead to an outdoor protected space. The Zen Garden was beautiful with a contemplation pond.

Kek Lok Tong Cave Temple and Zen Gardens – they really had to post signs here to tell people not to swim or fish in the contemplation pond. That’s absurd!
